Overview
In order to meet the development needs of offshore wind-power market business in the future, Shanghai Shocktorm Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd will construct a 3,000 tonner self-elevating and self-propelled wind-power piling installation integrated vessel "Xiongcheng 6" which is developed and designed by the 708 Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited. The vessel is mainly used for piling of fan pile foundation and installation of the tower, cabin, blade, etc. in offshore wind power plant area with water depth of about 50m, such as Guangdong, Fujian, etc., with its lifting operation ability reaching 3,000 tonner in consideration of the piling and lifting operation of other offshore engineering foundations. It, equipped with dynamic positioning system, can achieve the world-wide voyages. So it is a new generation of self-elevating and self-propelled wind-power piling installation integrated vessel with the strongest operational ability and the highest technical contents developed in China at present.
